Experienced Whole-Home Heat Pump Installers in Nova Scotia

Upgrading the heating system for an entire house requires careful planning. The right equipment must account for the property’s size, insulation, air leakage, room arrangement, and heating demand during colder weather. Mada Home Comfort assesses these details to help homeowners choose a system that fits their needs instead of relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

We work with homeowners considering central ducted systems, multi-zone ductless equipment, and upgrades from older heating setups. Whether your property has existing ductwork or needs an alternative distribution method, our team explains the available options and helps you understand the practical differences before making a decision.

Whole-Home Heat Pump Installation Solutions in Nova Scotia

Every home has different heating and cooling requirements. Mada Home Comfort helps you explore system configurations that can serve your entire property while considering installation requirements, temperature control, and long-term operating needs.

1

Central Ducted Systems

Central ducted heat pumps use an indoor air handler and a network of ducts to distribute conditioned air throughout the home. They can be a natural fit for properties with suitable existing ductwork and provide centralized temperature control through a thermostat.

2

Multi-Zone Ductless Systems

For homes without central ducts, a multi-zone configuration can distribute heating and cooling through several indoor units connected to outdoor equipment. This approach allows temperature settings to be adjusted in individual zones, depending on the system design.

3

Heating System Conversions

Replacing an oil furnace, older electric heating equipment, or an underperforming HVAC system requires more than installing new equipment. We assess your existing setup and help determine the heat pump capacity and distribution arrangement needed to meet your home’s heating requirements.

4

Whole-Home System Replacement

If your current system struggles to maintain temperatures, requires frequent repairs, or no longer suits your household, a replacement may be worth considering. We help you compare suitable equipment and plan an upgrade based on your property’s current needs.

Benefits of Whole-House Heat Pump Systems in Nova Scotia

A properly designed whole-home heat pump can simplify your home’s climate control while providing heating and cooling through a coordinated system. The benefits depend on your property, equipment selection, and existing heating arrangement.

Whole-Home Comfort

A properly sized system meets your home's heating and cooling needs. Suitable equipment and airflow help maintain comfortable temperatures throughout the entire living space year-round.

Energy Efficiency

Heat pumps transfer heat instead of generating it through electric resistance. Depending on your previous system, energy rates, and usage, an efficient model may help lower your overall heating costs.

Balanced Temperatures

Whole-home systems account for room-by-room heating needs and airflow. Proper sizing and distribution help reduce temperature differences, keeping living spaces more comfortable throughout the year.

Year-Round Comfort

A heat pump provides heating during winter and cooling in summer. This versatile system helps maintain comfortable indoor temperatures through Nova Scotia's changing seasonal conditions.

MADA came to our house to check it for heatpumps on Sept.21 and at 9:00 on the 28th they installed one in the living room and one in the basement. They were finished cleaned any mess on the floors and explained how they worked and were out of here before 11.20. They also put in a pony electrical box. We were very impressed with their work. We have never encountered such a friendly and efficient group from start to finish. Also had a great price. Excellent service all around.

We had a great experience with Madda, and we especially want to recognize Eddy for his outstanding support throughout the entire process of having our heat pumps installed. We started the process last fall and, unfortunately, there were significant delays along the way due to a number of factors outside of Madda’s control, including electrical work, drywall, siding and insulation contractors, including a 4 month delays with NS Power. What could have been a very frustrating and stressful experience was made much easier because of Eddy. Eddy was incredibly patient, understanding, and professional from beginning to end. He stayed in regular contact with us, checking in weekly or every couple of weeks to keep us updated and make sure we knew what was happening. He was always approachable, listened to our concerns, and never made us feel like we had been forgotten. Eddy also completed the grant application process and financing for us,which was extremely helpful and made the whole process much easier to manage. He took the time to answer our questions and guide us through the different steps. After about nine months from when we first contacted the company ( once again out on f their control), we got everything completed. Once the house was ready, the heat pump installation itself went very smoothly, and we are very happy to have the job finished. We truly appreciate Eddy’s dedication, communication, patience, and understanding throughout what turned into a much longer process than we originally expected due to difficulties with contractors etc! He continued to stay in touch and support us the entire way, and that really made a difference. Thank you, Eddy, and thank you to the entire Madda team for being patient and understanding during this long process! We are very happy with our new heat pumps and would definitely recommend Madda to others.
